The procedure includes the following steps:

  • Cleansing the child's skin and lubricating it with cream.
  • Applying ozokerite to the affected area in a layer of about 1 cm.
  • Covering the area with polyethylene and covering with a blanket to retain heat.
  • Duration: from 15 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the child's age and disease.
  • Cleansing the skin with warm water and soap after the session.
