Sanatorium "Magadan" — eco-hero: how caring for nature has become a support for OUR

In a world where caring for the environment often seems like an abstract concept, the staff at the Magadan Sanatorium has proven that even collecting waste paper can be a real feat. The health resort not only took part, but became one of the flagships of the All–Russian campaign "Buy paper - help your own" (Spring 2026), organically combining the principles of responsible consumption with the support of those who today guard the interests of the country.

Ecology as a front for good deeds.

The idea of the campaign is simple and ingenious: the collected waste paper is recycled, which saves thousands of trees from being cut down, and the proceeds are used to help military personnel.

For the sanatorium "Magadan", located in one of the most picturesque corners of the region, nature conservation is always a priority. However, this time the staff and guests of the health resort approached the task on a special scale. Every kilogram has become a contribution to the common cause.

Recognition: diploma and honorary title.

The efforts did not go unnoticed. The organizers of the eco-marathon "Recycling" highly appreciated the contribution of the sanatorium. As a result of the gathering, Magadan was awarded not just gratitude, but the institution received a marathon diploma and, most honorably, the title "Ecogeroy".

"This title is not just a beautiful word," said a representative of the sanatorium administration. — This is an assessment of our collective spirit. Our employees, our guests, and everyone who did not pass by showed that when we unite for two noble goals — to save the planet's resources and help our neighbor — the result will always be significant."

A common cause that unites.

The Magadan sanatorium has long been known for its unique natural and climatic base and treatment programs, but this action has also revealed it as a center of social responsibility. After all, taking care of human health is impossible without taking care of the health of the environment.

Expressing gratitude to all participants of the gathering, the management of the sanatorium emphasizes: The action "Give paper – help your own" is an example of how you can be civil even in everyday matters.

The campaign has ended, but the relay race of kindness launched in Magadan continues. And who knows, perhaps next spring the health resort will not only compete for the title of "Eco-Hero" again, but will also set a new record for collection.
